I had been debating on getting back on here for a while, I guess with Facebook I like many others have strayed from the blogging world.... My sister this weekend mentioned to me that she would love coming here to read up on the musings in my head so here I am!

With all the things going around in my life I felt I needed an outlet to write down all my thoughts.... So much has happened in these past six years... My lil boys are no longer little :( Can't believe how time flies by in blink of a second!

My baby Mikey is a pre-teen! How in the heck did that happen!!!! He is crazy smart and does good in school his interest are currently "Clash of clans" reading and anime movies...

Lil Luis is NOT so little anymore! He is towering almost as tall as his Daddy! Standing at 6'1" and we call him our basketball head! We have spent hundreds of hours in basketball courts for his games! He is my lil clown! I love the relationship we have! He is his FATHER'S CHILD but I see so much of me in him....

Last is my Joey.... Where do I begin? He has made this Momma so PROUD but at the same time SCARED.... He graduated from HS with High Honors and went straight to Boot Camp... This was a decision he took very seriously... He enlisted in the National Guard and had one local deployment in which he was stationed in VA for about a year. When he came back he tried going to college but he it was just not his thing... He finally got in the Police Academy and just recently graduated... He is a couple of weeks shy of deploying overseas. My heart is broken, I am scared, terrified almost paralyzed with fear. I know this is what he chose and as a Momma I will support him ALL the way but my feelings are my feelings. This world is on FIRE and scares the shit out of me...

Wish I had a rewind button.... but I know life goes on and stops for no one... I enjoy seeing my kids grow and venture out into this world... Parenting is hard but oh so fulfilling! Not sure if anyone reads this blog anymore but if you do stay tuned as I am back into the blogging world!Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-90891868792566685572009-05-09T09:27:00.003-04:002009-05-09T10:45:54.961-04:00On this eve of Mother's Day I am in a very reflecting mode.

I must say that being a mom has been yet the most difficult and yet most fulfilling job I have ever had.

When I became a mom I was 18 going on 19 to the most precious little boy I had ever set my eyes on. He wasn't little by any means as he weighed 11lbs 8 oz. He was the biggest baby at the nursery. I called him my sunshine as his hair was so blond you could barely see his eyelashes.

I remember sitting in the hospitals nursery trying to breast feed him and getting the look of pity that all the grown adult new moms gave me. They did not have to say one word to me. I knew what they where thinking. I knew that they where saying to themselves that I was just a kid having a kid. They talked among themselves and asked questions about their newborn babies and not one said a word to me. Oh those memories are very vivid in me. I remember promising Joey that I would do everything in my power to be the BEST mom in the world to him.

As time passed and I became one of the society's statistic of a recently divorced "Woman" at the mere age of 19 with a kid I made it a mission to not fall into the percentage of people to live off the government.

I was lucky to have the support of my parents as they took me in, they wanted me to get back on my feet. I worked during the day at that time making $3.25 ph as a receptionist and put myself through college at night. It was a sacrifice I had to make to achieve my goal. While my college friends where going out drinking and partying I was at home doing homework while attending my child. Joey grew so attached to my parents and the truth was that even though I was his mom they where the ones he was seeing as "Mama" and "Papa" as he called them, they where the ones that spent more hours with them.

It finally came a time that I was able to branch on my own. I found an apartment that I was able to pay and I made the announcement to my parents that I was going to move out. They took it hard. My Dad even suggested that I just pick Joey up during the weekends and let him sleep with them to during the week to make it easy on me. I could not do it! I told them that he was MY child and that I needed to create our little family on my own. They understood and they helped me move out.

The first night we slept in our apartment Joey would just stand at the door and cry for his "Mama" and "Papa" and it broke my heart! I cried that night with him in my arm until he fell asleep. He was barely a year and a half old. Even though he called me "Mommy" I was not his "Mama" or "Papa".

My mom still took care of him during the day and as soon as I was out of work I went to pick him up. His cries became less and less in the afternoons when it was time for us to leave. My mom still helped me and she made sure that we both would eat before leaving to our home.

While my co-workers where going to happy hour I was driving to pick up my boy, my life. While they were drinking their Miller's Lite the "in" drink at the time, I was happily playing with my boy in a fast foods restaurant playground.

I beat the statistics! I made it on my own with my little boy...

or so I thought....

to be continued....Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-49460240970301729112009-05-01T20:21:00.002-04:002009-05-01T20:37:05.633-04:00I'm back! Kind of...Wow where do I begin? It was never my intention of being away from this blog for so long...

Well I can finally say that the mini home improvement we set our goals on has been completed! Wow lets just say I never want to deal the dust and this kind of mess again! We have been exhausted, however our house is finally looking decent!

The tiles are set, the new base boards painted and while I was at it I decided to make a clean sweep and tackled all the closets in the house. Needless to say I will be doing a garage sale soon! Holy crap! I have no idea how I have accumulated so much stuff in the 5 years we have lived in this house!

The boys have outgrown so many clothes! And Joey's choice of clothing has changed and now he will not wear any of what I would call his hip hop clothes anymore... He is totally into what I call kind of suffer, preppy dude!

And talking about Joey. I have been thinking about his future so much. To know that he will be entering his senior year in a couple of months fills me with pride and at the same times makes my heart ache to know that soon he will go his way as a young man. I have been trying to write a post just about him and the emotions I felt the day his class ring arrived at my house, however I am just so overcome by emotion that the tear rolling down my face don't help. I hope to finish it soon and post it.

Sometimes I don't post here because I feel that things that I want to write about are not blog worthy, So I have made a decision to start using this blog as a scrap book of memories an photos of my family, I really don't have many readers anyway.

For those who still read hopefully I won't bore you to death~ LOLNoemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-66636132652818295542009-04-07T08:56:00.003-04:002009-04-07T17:06:26.395-04:00Isn't She Lovely!!!!!
After following her blog for a little over 2 years she has finally received the referral of her precious daughter!

This precious little girl will be loved from here to the moon! And I keep on forgetting to come over here! LOL

The boys are on their Spring Break and life has been busy to sat the least. My house is in shambles! Still no floor layed down, and anybody who knows me, knows that is driving me crazy!!!! Dad will be here on the18th and we should get it all done that weekend. If that was not enough I decided to paint the whole house and update all the decorations.

Some bloggy friends as well as bloggers that I follow have gotten or will get their referrals soon!!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR THEM! You all know who you are!!!!Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-33596863783029886112009-03-14T20:29:00.001-04:002009-03-14T21:18:26.243-04:00I know I have been lost from the bloggy world for a while. I am kind of in a funk, not that I don't have lots to say, but I have been very busy.

Have you ever felt that you need a vacation from your vacation? I have been exhausted lately, and the time change has not been helping me at all!

I have been very busy at work, and it has been a little overwhelming! I have one employee out on maternity leave, and I have had a couple others who have been out sick, leaving my plate rather full with things that need be done.

Little Luis and Joey had FCATS last week and they where very stressed to say the least. Can someone tell me why they inflict so much pressure and scare the shit out of 3rd graders about this test! I mean for crying out loud he is 8 and does not need to feel so much of a burden on him! Little Luis had 2 nights in which he had nightmares this past week. I literally had to lay with him in bed all night to give him reassurance that all would be OK. I am sure he will past this test, he is currently reading on a 5th grade level and is in the schools enrichment program.

Joey got his SAT scores and he passed with a 24! Can you imagine how PROUD I am of my firstborn? I am ECSTATIC! Needless to say he with that score and his GPA he will have no problem in getting into the College he wants.

My house looks like a war zone! Luis just ripped the floors out and we will be installing Travertine tiles soon. Two years ago I made the mistake of installing laminate floors, well lest just say that boys + dog = bad looking floors! My dad will be coming up from Miami to install the tiles.

Yesterday we booked our next vacation. We will be going on a Cruise to the Western Caribbean! We got it dirt cheap for all 5 of us. It is looking like it will be a big family reunion, because my mom and dad as well as my sister with her kids and two cousins with their families will be going as well! This should be fun!Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-89096305523837663222009-03-02T18:32:00.003-05:002009-03-02T19:20:35.083-05:00We had a great time! I took over 1,500 pictures and tons of hours on video. This is one vacation that my boys will forever remember!

We made it to TN on Saturday morning and needless to say we were beat! We checked in and just relaxed and ordered some pizza.

Little Luis kept asking me if it would snow. I was so afraid that it would not and I explained to him that it was not in our control, but that the weather forecast said it would snow. Imagine to my surprise when I woke up and saw a beautiful white wonderland! I woke the boys up by 6:00 am and we were out playing in the snow by 6:30 am! It was so funny! We had a good 2 to3 inches of snow. Now I know you Northerner's must be laughing at how little snow, but heck that is a lot for some kids born in the tropics and then living in FL! LOL

We headed up to the mountains to go skiing and let me just say that I am becoming a wimp! I was literally hyper-ventilating while Hubby was driving up the mountains! And it did not help that a good chunk of the road was under construction and they merely had some orange cones to keep you from falling hundreds of feet down the mountain!

It was cold as heck! We did some snowboarding and the boys really liked it. When it came time to go either snowboarding or skiing the little boys opted not to do it. It was a sigh of relief for me as I was not too keen on going down a snowy slope! I think hubby had the same train of thought because Joey was the only one heading up the slopes and the rest of us decided to stay in lower grounds!

While Joey is heading toward the slopes I almost died when I saw my child go on the wrong side of the slopes that were clearly labeled in huge RED letters "Advanced Skiers Only". Needless to say he made it out fine and had the time of his life!

It brings so much joy to see the smiles in my kids face!

We also went to the Biltmore Mansion in NC and I was a little bummed out to learn we could not video tape of take any pictures of the inside. (Hubby, did manage to film a little shhhh don't tell anyone LOL)

We then headed to Chattanooga, TN and did the Aquarium, Rock City and Ruby Falls.

I was able to make a quick stop in Atlanta GA and met up with Pug Mama & Big Daddy, Lisa and adorable Miss Briana and met the so nice Liene! We had a nice dinner at chatted up some. I wish It could have been a little longer. It was so nice to meet all you ladies after so much time of reading their blogs. Miss Briana is just a ham! When we left the boys all agreed she was the cutest thing ever! LOL

So back to reality vacation is over and I was back to work today, needless to say a little bit of a caos but all under control.

Below are some of the pictures I took. Enjoy!

Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-82228333339682865272009-02-17T18:42:00.002-05:002009-02-17T19:00:04.143-05:00Ready, Set, GO!We are packed and ready to go! Not sure that I will blog but hopefully I can upload pics of our adventures.

Below is a picture of my beautiful niece! We where up on Monday night with all the boys sick. They all where running a fever and just feeling yucky...

Tuesday morning hubby stayed home from work to take all three of the boys to the pediatrician. The result is Joey with the flu and Little Luis and Mickey have a acute sinus infection with a viral bacteria in them that has the just so sick.

We have to keep the boys apart as they have different things and they can pass it on to one another.

I left the pharmacy with half of their medications!!!! While waiting for the prescriptions to be filled I witnessed so many people going to pick up their prescriptions and after hearing the price of what it would cost they would tell the clerk that they can not afford them and just leave them there. Just seeing that was eye opening. I am so grateful that we have our jobs and our medical insurance, and that I was able to purchase my boys medications....

I have said this before, but I will say it again I just HATE seeing my boys sick! I feel so useless. I stayed with them today and Hubby will stay tomorrow with them.

On another note hubby got me an early Valentine/First Date Anniversary present!!!! He got me the Sony A350 DSLR DT18-70mm F3.5 - 5.6 zoom kit with and additional 75-300mm F4.5-5.6 lens. We went over to Circuit City's clearance sale near our home and we got it for $479 plus tax! That is a steel! It did not come with the Compact Flash card, but I managed to find a 8 GB one for 19.99 online! I am waiting for it to come and then I just cant wait to start playing with my new Camera! I am thinking of taking some online classes and I have been researching tips for new DSLR users online.

Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-48654399808914305482009-01-20T06:41:00.003-05:002009-01-20T06:59:46.393-05:00Update on JoeyI want to first thank GOD that my Joey is doing much better! He is still in some pain and yesterday was pretty hard on him.

My Mom took him in for his first Physical Therapy and he did OK. He was in some pain when he left the office. He called to tell me that he felt that he was twisted like a pretzel! He will be going to PT two times a week for the next 4 weeks.

This will be just in time for our vacation. We informed the Dr. that our vacation next month is to go skiing and she told us that he can go and just snuggle in near the fireplace with a hot cup of cocoa but that he will not be well to go on the slopes.

He was a little bummed out at first and hubby and I even thought of canceling out trip. We mentioned it to Joey and he told us NO! He said that even though he can not ski he knows his little brothers are really excited about this trip and he does not want to ruin it for them. He also told me that it was more about us spending time together as a family and that was more important than anything else.

We have now decided to adjust out trip and we will be in Ober Mountain for 3 days and then we will head to Chattanooga to see the sights and go to Rock City.

So the vacation plans are still a go!

I have received calls from almost all of his teachers and I must say that after hearing so many good things about Joey I am one proud Momma!

His teacher’s have been wonderful to us and they told us not to worry that he has a 4.0 GPA and that his grades will not be affected.

The teacher’s have emailed all of his work as well as his mid-term exams for him to complete them at home. He will return to school on Wednesday (Monday & Tuesday he does not have class). He is almost up to date on his class work and he is already itching to go back to school.

I want to thank all who have commented or emailed me privately, all your prayers truly mean a lot to us.Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-61676400172574444932009-01-15T08:44:00.001-05:002009-01-15T08:46:54.575-05:00A Prayer Request...Last Thursday I receive a call from Joey while he was at his wrestling practice, that he hurt his back while teaching one of the newer teammates some techniques.

When I went to pick him up he seemed a little stiff but he was OK. We put one of those icy patches on his back and thought that he would feel better in the morning. Friday came and he got up and went to school, he was still a little stiff but insisted on going to school because he had an exam to take from one of his honors classes. Around 10:00 am he calls me to tell me that his back is really bothering him, and asks that I pick him up from school.

Being that I work over an hour away from his school I called my sister and asked her to pick him up. She headed over to his school with my mom and called me as soon as she got him. She told me he was walking really stiff and that you could see he was in pain. My Mom got him settled in the bed at her house and she put the heating pad on him and gave him some extra strength Tylenol. She told me not to pick him up that she would attend to him and that she would take him to my house later that evening.

When they got home I could see the pain he was in and told him I would take him to the ER. He told me that he just had a little bit of pain and that he would be OK by the next day. When I went to check on him on Saturday morning, he could not get out of bed. My Mom and my nephew Tony had spent the night home and they helped me get him up and ready to take him to the ER.

They did some x-rays on him and told me he did not have any fractures that it was more of a muscle spasm. They gave him a shot for the pain, prescribed some Flexeril and Ibuprofen 800 mg and sent him on his way with instructions to get lots of rest and to stay home from school for a couple of days.

My mom took him to her house so she could take care of him while me and Luis worked. Come yesterday (Wednesday) he went to school still with pain to try and makeup some of his school work and take some of his mid-term exams. I get a call at 9:00 am that he is in a lot of pain. My Mom once again stepped him and went to pick him up at school, while I frantically called his pediatrician to explain what has been going on and what would be the next step to take. She recommends I take him to a Pediatric Orthopedic ASAP.

I thank GOD that the first place I called they told me they could take him in at 2:00 pm that same day. I left work to go and pick him up from my mom’s and headed to the Dr’s office. I explained the whole ordeal to the Dr. and she ordered some x-rays to confirm her suspicions.

It turns out he has a fracture on his rib and he has a torn Thoracic muscle. She ordered and emergency MRI on him and had her staff schedule it for me. I was to be in the other side of town at 6:00 pm. She prescribed him some Vicodine to help him with the pain on top of the other meds he was taking.

I finally got him settled at my mom’s house yesterday at around 9:30 pm. He is to be in bed rest until further notice. She indicated that this could take weeks to heal. I am so grateful to my Mom and my sister with all the help they have given us!

She is upset that in the ER this was unnoticed. I am upset at that and also the fact that I am yet to receive a call any of his three wrestling coaches to see how he is. And my heart is broken that he is in so much pain and I cannot do anything to help him.

The doctor will call me today as soon as she gets the results of the MRI. She is hoping that there are no internal injuries.

So please say a little prayer for my baby boy. He may be 16 and almost 6 ft tall but he is still my baby…Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-29728392849288011272009-01-06T14:09:00.013-05:002009-01-07T12:30:48.689-05:00
Well this year has started with me being as busy as ever! We also celebrated my Mom's 59th Birthday as well as two of my nephews birthday's.

The Friday after Christmas I took the day off from work and me and the little ones just hanged out in our PJ’s all day and then hit the mall so they could spend some of their Christmas money and to make a quick exchange. They got two Tyco Wheelie motorcycles, however me being the “Oh so Mommy; I don’t want them to fight over the colors” bought them the same color not knowing that they ran in the same frequency. It was easily fixed and they are now able to compete in races.

I got Hubby this little camera that he is in LOVE with.

I got a cool elliptical that I really wanted!

Joey asked that every one give him cash. Some days I have gone by without even taking my lunch breaks and being in the office at times at 4:30 am in order to complete some last minute projects.

Hubby managed to get an overnight stay at the hospital with a diverticulitis attack. He got to the hospital just on time. The doctor informed him that he was about an hour away from having a ruptured intestine. It was a big scare for us. He will be seeing a nutritionist next and has vowed to keep to his diet. It broke my heart seeing him in so much pain and not able to console him in any way and leave him there. I made it home at 12:30 am.

The next day that Hubby was left in the hospital, Joey was to leave to Puerto Rico. We had to be in the airport at 6:00 am. I live an hour away from the airport. I barely got 3 hours of sleep. Got up and got a hospital bag for ready hubby as well as getting the two little ones up and in there school clothes and out the house by 5:00 am.

After we dropped Joey off and said our goodbye's I had to console little Luis and Mickey. They were really upset that Joey will not be home from this Christmas season.

Drove an hour back to my side of the woods to drop the kids at school for their Christmas party. Mickey started to barf in my SUV. I called my mom and dropped him off at her house and headed to the hospital.

On my way to the hospital I get a call from work that our dialer is down and I need to get there ASAP. (I work at a marketing call center and the dialer is the heart of our company)

It broke my heart to get to the hospital and not be able to stay with hubby for a while. He was very understanding and knew that I just needed to get to the office to get things working.

Hubby was finally sent home and is well on his recovery. I am looking forward to a quiet and relaxing Christmas.

I am almost done wrapping all my gifts and they are hidden in my walking closet that is no longer a walking closet cause you can't walk past the door from all of the gifts stashed there. LOL!

I only have 3 gifts that I need to buy and I should be over and done with this weekend.

I have really missed my little ole blog. I look forward to catching up with all my blogs this weekend.

I am SO READY FOR A VACATION!

I just got this txt message pic of the boys at home with their Daddy. It just made my day!

PS, Almost forgot I made the most yummy cranberry, white chocolate, pecan cookies for the boys teachers they were a HUGE hit! I have been so busy lately and work has been well lets see horrible!

I have tons of pictures just sitting in my camera... I have the pumpkin patch pictures, Halloween pics and the making of the kids signs to take to their big day tomorrow to go see ECW and Smackdown. Hopefully I can get them uploaded tomorrow, as I will be all alone in my house with no cooking or tending to kids! YEAH!!!!!! It will be a nice relaxing night for me, while hubby is having fun with his boys.

Don't get me wrong anyone who really knows me knows how much I love being with my boys, but it is nice to catch a break here and there.

The other day Joey txt me to tell me he needs Gel for his hair, so after work I make a quick stop at Wally World (W@lmart), which I hate going to anyways. As I start to lower the back door of my SUV I made a miscalculation of space and managed to smash my head with all my might! I saw all the fairies, stars, moons and lights that you can imagine! The pain that shot through my head was so intense that I started to vomit right there and then.

A young man that saw what happened came running to me to see if I was OK. It took me a couple of minutes to catch my breath and when I managed to let go of my head he told me that I was bleeding from my forehead. Great! Just what I needed! I managed to crack open my head all on my own. He turned on my SUV and turned on the air for me. I checked the damage I had caused upon myself and did what any little girl would do. I called my Mom! Which now that I think about it was really dumb as all I did was make her nervous and she was miles away from me. She calmed me down over the phone and told me to look at my head again to see how much I had opened. After further inspection I concluded that it was really small and I could mend myself up when I got him with an old fashion butterfly stitch.

I had to go and get my boys from their after school program and I was really in no position to go to an Urgent Care and much less and ER. I had to go get my boys! I was about 30 miles away from their school. My Mom does not live close by to go and get them, hubby works in Tampa! So I gathered myself up and made my way to pick them up.

I called hubby on my way and explained what happened, and he asked me to go to the ER, I told him that I would be OK. By the time I got to pick up the boys I was sporting a nice Quasimodo look! Perfect for Halloween!

When the boys saw me they were worried but I told them I was OK. I got home and Joey prepared dinner for the boys while I took a bath and then mended my self up. Joey got me and ice pack and I laid down for a while. When Hubby got home he wanted to take me to the ER but I assured him I was OK. He was afraid that I might have a fracture. The swelling was going down and I was not feeling weird or anything. The cut is completely closed now and the swelling is down but it still hurts when I touch it.

The kids had a blast on Halloween, Mickey was Iron Man, Little Luis was Rey Mysterio (I managed to make his pants, as I was not willing to shell out $75.00 for a pair of replica pants) and Joey pulled out a last minute costume and he and his cousin Tony put some hair rollers on, make up, fake boobies and really old night gowns that belonged to my Aunt. It was hilarious! They were the hit! They would even flash their boobies to some neighbors!

Yesterday we went to church and had a really nice time, we met up with my Mom, Sister and our best friend that is like a sister with her kids and then headed out to a late lunch.

After lunch we made our way to get some boots for the whole family. We are planning a 5 day get a way to Gatlinbugh TN in February! The boys are so excited! Hopefully we will be able to get the boys to see some snow and take them snow tubing at Ober. We are planning on renting out a Cabin and spend some quality time together. Hopefully we can get more family on board.

So that wraps it up for me. So what have you been up to?Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-26710298028427298082008-10-24T11:20:00.003-04:002008-10-24T11:45:55.475-04:00Tagged!

I have been tagged by this new bloggy friend of mine. So here it goes:

Rules:

1. Link to the person who tagged you and post the rules

2. Share 7 random or weird facts about yourself

3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and link to them

4. Let each person know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I rock myself to sleep. I will sway my legs ever so slightly until I fall asleep. I have done since I have any memory. Hubby used to get annoyed with this habit when we got married. Now when he is out of town on a business trip he can’t go to sleep because I am not rocking us to sleep! LOL

2. When I was younger my favorite snack was two slices of bread with some mayonnaise spread, slices of guava paste and bananas. I have not had that in years, I am not sure if my taste buds will like this anymore. And I just can’t afford the calories. LOL

3. I have a very delicate stomach! The gag reflex in me is just beyond me. People cannot even have a conversation in front of me that will gross me out; I will gag and sometimes vomit.

4. I am a sunflower seed addict! There I said it! I guess that is part of a 12-step program. I only eat them while I am at the office. It drive my co-workers crazy … LOL

5. My favorite movies to watch are Grease and Dirty Dancing. I can watch them over and over again. I know the words to most of the scenes. LOL

6. Favorite snack is a Twix bar with some pretzels. I am not to keen on chocolate covered pretzels but this combo is just perfect for me.

7. I am constantly cleaning my ears. It is w really bad habit! Every time I walk into the bathroom I grab a Q-tip and clean my ears. NOTHING comes OUT! They are clean, but I just can't help myself!

So now I am supposed to tag 7 peeps. I have a lil problem with this part as all of the 1,000,000 readers I have had been tagged and the ones that have not really don't like tags or meme's. I got a note from Mickey's teacher that in celebration of Hispanic Month she would appreciate US parents in sending in a Map of Puerto Rico and to make sure that WE use our imagination! Below is the finished project. I must say I am really proud of myself! We made it into a family project. Joey used the projector to trace it onto the board. Mickey handed me the beans to create the border while I burned my fingertips using the hot glue gun! Little Luis and Mickey both spread the glue inside the municipalities and filled them with rice. I made sure to type out and print the names of all 78 municipalities that are in our little island.

Yesterday Mickey was to take his finished project to school and because it was so big we decided to walk with him to class to make sure it arrived in one piece. I know you must be like what the heck! This is not what I saw! Well I am not too blogger savvy. I had been looking around for free templates and liked the one I had here previously.

Well fast forward to a busy schedule with kids and work, ad to that frequent headaches almost daily (most likely stressing about medical insurance), and life itself and I had completely abandoned the blog.

I even had second thoughts of even coming back to the blog world. I guess life is just getting to busy to be able to sit down and write a post. But after a couple of weeks I have come to realize that I missed having my little blog!

While I was surfing the net to get more accessories for the blog, I fell upon this little site and just loved the layouts. Add to that little Luis sitting next to me and saw that they had Halloween layouts and he asked me if I could use this one. So I went ahead and changed it again! LOL.

So now for some updates a la bullet!

My Medical Insurance from work went sky rocket for this new enrollment. (!1,184.00) a month!

This is not including dental! That is another $182.00 a month

Discovered that hubby's insurance was way cheaper with more benefits and better deductibles for a family of 5.

Luis will only pay $185.00 twice a month

The above price includes dental!

Waiting to get proof of coverage to be able to set up medical appointments for me

I have not seen a regular doctor in years

Joey is becoming such a young man it brings tears to my eyes to watch him grow so fast.

He now knows how to do a tie!

Joey was the talk of the crowd when he showed up to his homecoming dance with not one but two dates came and picked him up at home!

I was able to get some awesome seats for hubby and the boys to go here!

They have no idea they are going

Much less that they will be in the 7th row!

And that most of there favorite wrestlers will be there!

My sister is getting married!

I am so happy for her!

Stayed with my niece Jasmin the other night.

Never again! LOL

She was fine during the day but oh boy, All I can say is that she needs her mommy to sleep! I was able to calm her down but I must admit that is was hard.

Here I leave you with some pictures of Joey getting ready and with his dates on home coming!

Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-23813813584413365602008-09-19T14:45:00.001-04:002008-09-19T14:47:14.181-04:00Need a change!

Making some changes on the blog.

Excuse the dust!

Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1962087083020447552.post-17075055846929031992008-09-15T09:03:00.003-04:002008-09-15T09:17:57.328-04:00MY KING OF THE WORLDHubby finally made it home on Friday! I was so excited as well as the boys! We spent Saturday just getting the house up to date and spending quality time with each other.

Sunday our family had an end of summer BBQ at my cousins house and a great time was had by all. It was so hot that they boys made a dash for the pool! LOL

One funny thing did happen this weekend. We took Hubby's car to the BBQ and when we were about 5 houses from our house Mickey asked if he could poke he head out from the Sun roof. I would never allow him to do this, BUT they were no cars on our street and hubby was only doing 10 mph. So me and hubby looked at each other and told him yes. Hubby stopped the car so he could get in position poke he head out.

He then proceeded to stretch his arms out like they did in the movie Titanic and he screamed "I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD" stretching out the word "World" as much as he could! We almost died laughing and we have no idea where he heard this before! The child is only 5 years old and he just comes up with some stuff! LOL

When we got them ready for bed and were tucking them in Mickey hugs me and tell me in a very low voice "Right Mommy I am the king of the world?"

Moments like these I will always treasure with my boys! I of course told him "You sure are buddy"Noemihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05463574068061723082noreply@blogger.com3
