I really pulled it off! As most of you know my Hubbys birthday was last Tuesday and I really wanted to surprise him with something special. He got to pick out his new Plasma TV and that itself was a real BIG gift… So it occurred to me to throw him a surprise party.
To put this in action I had to be very discrete I did not even mention it on my blog afraid that for some odd reason he would feel compelled to read it (He never reads it unless I tell him about a specific post). Did not tell the boys and just prayed that I would be able to pull it off.
I started calling everyone that we knew to invite them for the surprise and the real break was when I called my cousin Danny (he used to work for the same company in PR with hubby) and he told me that there were like 8 of the guys that used to work with them living here in Central Florida (we did not know). I was so excited! So my cousin got me in contact with all of the guys! This would be the ultimate Surprise!
Saturday came and go figure he said he felt like staying home from work! I almost flipped out! I insisted that he go to work and not miss-use his vacation or sick time, because we may want to go to PR for Christmas. He was not happy and went to work.
I set it all up! I cleaned and cooked like a mad woman suffering from a sever case of OCD!
Time came for his time to come home, I knew that he would recognize some of the cars in the driveway, but wasn’t worried about it cause the real surprise was going to be a little later in the night when all the guys came in!
When he arrived we screamed surprise! He was happy and just laughed on how I did not want him to stay home. More people arrived and we where having a great time.
Then the real surprise came… I had told my cousin that the front door would be open and to have the guys come in one by one! His face was worth a million dollars… He was so surprised! We had a GREAT time and we partied till 2:30 am.
Us girls had a good time with my homemade hard lemonade! LOL They called me yesterday complain of there headaches!
I did it I Surprised the heck out of my hubby! The good thing is that this is just the beginning of good time with old friends!
