Christmas Re-Cap

Whew! Let me just start by saying that after the hospital ordeal from the below post, I got the worst cold you can ever imagine! I was so sick it was just horrible.

I managed to go to work on Christmas Eve and then dash home to start the cooking. I made a delicious Spiral Ham, Rib Roast, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Poppy Seed Cream Cheese bread and my mom bought in the Rice.

A good time was had by all! It was really nice to have the entire family under one roof. The only two missing were my sister that lives up in NY and Joey. I really did miss him.

Everyone left the house at around midnight. Luis and I did the cleaning of the dishes, giving the boys a chance to fall asleep. At around 1:00 am we double checked to make sure the boys were knocked out and then we proceeded to bring the gifts down from the attic.

The boys face was priceless! When they saw they got the Wii. Luis loved his NBA 2nd row tickets for the Magic’s game. Luis got me some clothes.

Joey’s presents are under the tree waiting for him to get home.

After a while of playing at home we packed up the Wii and headed to Mom’s house. To say the family room was hit by a hurricane is an understatement! Everyone had so much fun with the games.

We had a nice Christmas Lunch and then headed home. New Year’s will be spent at my cousin’s house and that should be fun.

Below are some pictures from when we arrived at my mom’s house. Something happened to my memory card and I lost the pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning at our house. I was so upset! This is the first time this has happened and the first time I have NO pictures of my boys opening there presents!

Looks like a crazy Christmas. Those are the best kind.

PS. Hope you're feeling better. I missed the last post about your visit to the hospital and just now saw it.

Get the protectors for the Wii controls. I've heard of people playing and the controls flying off their hands and breaking the TV. I got J the protectors they are made of rubber and in case they fly off, they won't break or break anything else.

Hope you are doing better.
