CLASS 2010!

I know many of you have heard that the time passes by way to fast. For those of you who have kids believe me when I tell you it is like a blink of an eye.

It seams like the other day I was changing Joey’s diaper and on Monday night I was with him at his High School choosing his Class Ring. How did this happen? To say it was bitter sweet for me. I by all means am so happy that he has grown up to be the young man he is. He has a 4.0 GPA, does great in school. Overall is a GREAT kid and brother.

But I can say truly say that this was hard to say the least. It was such an amazing experience and to know that he wanted my opinion on which he should pick was very welcoming.

When we got home while I prepared dinner he sat at the kitchen counter and told me that he was 100% sure of what he wanted to study. I assumed he was talking about his interest in Forensic Science. Oh but was I wrong so wrong. He told me that he had done some research about the curriculum and to see if he would ne able to stay in state for his College years.

I was completely blown away when he told me that he wanted to be an Anesthesiologist! Maybe his thoughts will change I don’t know, but one thing I can surely tell you is that I have often questioned myself if I am parenting him correctly and I am sure now that I am doing something right!

He was so passionate while he spoke of all the pro’s and con’s of the profession. He said he new it would be hard.

But he also new that it would be rewarding to his life in the future and his words for words “ I WILL make you proud Mommy”. Tears started to flow down my face and I told him: “You have made me proud since you were placed in my arms”

We always see them as Kids no matter how old they are.

You did a great job with him, I know you feel proud.

My beautifull Kimberly also graduates this year. My babies are growing up.

Good luck to Joey
